Job summary

Onyx Point, Inc. is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer with an active SCI clearance or eligibility to support integration of multiple subsystems on a dynamic program.

You will work closely with customers and vendors to configure, test, and troubleshoot integration efforts, and you will produce and maintain documentation. You will leverage a broad set of technical skills across Windows, Linux, VMware, networks, and security tools while communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8 years of related experience.
• Broad range of skills across Windows, Linux, VMware, and networking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; detail-oriented.
• Active SCI clearance or Top Secret eligibility; Security+ required; US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer goals and identify the best integration solution.
• Perform customer integration by following documented steps.

• Communicate with customers during and after integration, including meetings and follow-ups.

TS/ w/ SCI and US Citizenship

Job Description: We have an IMMEDIATE NEED for a Systems Integration Engineer to provide technical support for the integration of various sub-systems. As a Systems Integration Engineer on this program, you will be a member of a team that interacts with technical and non-technical teammates including customers and vendors, but primarily with subject matter expert teammates. In this role, you will provide technical assistance, administer configurations, support testing, recommend enhancements, and troubleshoot and resolve issues associated with the various sub-systems.

Responsibilities:

• Leverage your technical background to understand a customer’s goals and identify the best integration solution for their needs
• Perform customer (end user / end user system) Integration by following instructions and executing a process
• Test and troubleshoot configurations to confirm successful integration
• Communicate with customers during integration and post-integration including responding to emails, facilitating meetings or phone conversations, participating in solving technical problems
• Author/update documentation
• Identify configuration errors and check appropriate log files to debug issues.

Core Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 8 years of overall related experience
• Broad range of skills and experience across several COTS technologies- Windows, Linux, VMware, and networking.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Detail-oriented
• Experience or demonstrated familiarity in multiple of the following technologies, and a desire to learn the others:
  • MS Windows (AD, GPO, Server 2022, Win11, WSUS)
  • RedHat Linux OS administration
  • VMware ESXi, vCenter, and VMware Cloud Foundations architecture suite
  • Management of Juniper routers, firewalls, and switches via Juniper Space
  • Juniper Routing Director and Security Director
  • Cisco ISE, RadiantOne, RSA SecurID
  • SolarWinds NPM
  • Splunk Enterprise Search
  • Tenable vulnerability/compliance scanning tools
  • HAIPE management using GEM One
  • Session Border Controllers (Ribbon/Oracle)
  • Oracle SDM and OCOM
• Active SCI clearance or Top Secret (eligible for SCI) clearance
• Security+ is REQUIRED
• All candidates must be US CITIZENS to be considered for the position

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in providing similar integration support for onboarding external information systems
• Experience or demonstrated familiarity with multiple ofthe following identity, credential, and access management (ICAM) concepts/standards:
  • LDAP or MS Active Directory
  • PKI and TLS/SSL
  • RADIUS, SNMP, and NTP protocols
  • Multi-factor Authentication (RSA)
  • Experience or demonstrated familiarity with Public Key Infrastructure concepts and usage, including certificates, browser security configurations, and tokens
  • Experience in identity management and governance, to include single sign-on, identity federation, or enterprise directory architecture and design
• Local to Ft. Meade, MD

Compensation: We are committed to providing fair and competitive compensation. The salary range for this position is $78,000 to $250,000 per year. This range reflects the compensation offered across the locations where we hire. The exact salary will be determined based on the candidate's work location, specific role, skill set, and level of expertise.
