Ilocatum seeks a seasoned Director of Perioperative Services to provide system-level operational, financial, clinical, and administrative leadership across its perioperative portfolio in Ithaca, NY. You will oversee ORs, pre/postoperative care, scheduling, endoscopy, and sterile processing, driving patient safety, throughput, quality, and financial performance.

This senior role requires 5+ years in healthcare with surgical focus, 3+ years in leadership, a BSN, and an active RN license.

Qualifikationen

• BSN required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of healthcare experience with a focus on surgical services.
• 3+ years of surgical-services leadership experience.
• Current RN license.
• Knowledge of operating-room and perioperative clinical standards.
• Understanding of surgical operations and healthcare business processes.
• Fiscal-management and analytical capabilities.
• Budgeting, cost control, productivity analysis, and performance metrics.
• Employee development, recruitment, retention, and performance management.
• Ability to work in a matrixed organization.

Aufgaben

• Provide system-level leadership for perioperative services.
• Direct the overall daily operations of perioperative departments.
• Oversee operating room, preoperative and postoperative care, preadmission testing, OR scheduling, endoscopy, and sterile processing.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, local, state, and federal regulations and accreditation requirements.
• Develop and implement policies and standardized workflows.
• Lead recruitment, retention, and performance management.
• Build collaboration across clinical departments and medical staff leadership.
• Coordinate resources to achieve operational and financial objectives.
• Monitor quality outcomes and implement performance-improvement plans.
