Job summary

GENESYS Consulting Services, Inc. seeks an experienced IT professional for a 24 month HBITS contract in New York. You will develop N-Tier .NET web apps with VB.NET/C#, design Oracle databases, and implement WCF services, while coordinating deployments across environments.

You will also engage with clients to capture requirements, craft test plans, execute unit tests, and lead UAT efforts to ensure reliable production releases.

Qualifications

• 84 months experience developing N-Tier .NET web applications using VB.Net and/or C# 2.0+.
• 84 months experience with relational database design and deployment of SQL objects in Oracle.
• 84 months experience writing Web Services or WCF and deploying code through environments.
• 84 months experience working with customers to define business processes and user requirements.

Responsibilities

• Package, coordinate and deploy code through environments including production.
• Work directly with customers to identify business processes and user requirements.
• Write test plans and cases, perform unit testing and lead UAT testing.

Job description

This is a 24 month opportunity on the Hourly-Based IT Services (HBITS) Contract at the State of New York. (Possibility of extension).

Required Experience:

• 84 months experience developing N-Tier .net web applications utilizing VB.Net and/or C# 2.0 or above.
• 84 months experience with relational database design & deployment of sophisticated SQL objects, writing PL/SQL writing packages, XML type stored procedures and triggers, all in an Oracle environment.
• 84 months experience writing and developing Web Services or Windows Communication Foundation (WCF).
• 84 months packaging, coordinating and deploying code base through environments including production.
• 84 months experience working directly with customers to identify their business processes, rules, and understand application user requirements and issues.
• 84 months experience utilizing JQuery.
• 84 months experience with Team Foundation Server.
• 84 months experience in writing test plans & cases and performing unit testing & leading UAT testing.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Programming.
