Job summary

A consulting services firm is seeking candidates for a 30-month opportunity on the Hourly-Based IT Services Contract with the State of New York. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing applications using C#, ASP.NET, and Oracle. Familiarity with MVC 5 and Crystal Reports is also required. This role involves analyzing business requirements and ensuring code meets needs, offering a chance for extension based on performance.

Qualifications

• 84 months experience using Microsoft Visual Studio for C# and ASP.NET applications.
• 84 months experience with Oracle database design and PL SQL coding.
• 60 months experience developing applications with MVC 5 or later.
• 48 months experience with Crystal Reports version 10 or above.
• 48 months Crystal Reports integration with .NET apps.
• 36 months using TFS 2010+ for development and repositories.
• 24 months HIPAA PHI data handling in applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain .NET applications following n-tier architecture.
• Design Oracle databases, PL/SQL, and stored procedures.
• Translate business requirements into functional code.
• Build MVC 5+ applications and related components.
• Create and invoke Crystal Reports from .NET apps.
• Maintain code in TFS repositories and manage versioning.
• Ensure HIPAA PHI data handling compliance in code.

Job description

This is a 30 month opportunity on the Hourly-Based IT Services (HBITS) Contract at the State of New York. (Possibility of extension).

Required Experience:

• 84 months Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio to develop/maintain applications in C#, ASP.NET, Web API. for n-tier web deployment. Experience in .Net Core framework.
• 84 months Experience with Oracle: Database design, PL SQL coding, stored procedures, packages, indexes, triggers, creating tables, etc.
• 84 Months Experience interpreting and analyzing business requirements and building the logic within an application's code to meet those requirements.
• 60 months Experience developing applications with MVC 5 or later versions.
• 48 Months Experience developing reports with Crystal Reports version 10 or above and invoking them from .NET applications.
• 36 Months Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2010 or later, for development activities and code repositories.
• 24 Months Experience coding and maintaining applications which contain Health Care data that fall under HIPAA Protected Health Information (PHI).
