Rolls-Royce Corporation in Indianapolis, IN is hiring a System Design Integration Engineer in a hybrid full-time role. You will lead system-level design and integration, run gated reviews, and support installation, testing, and acceptance.

This position requires mechanical/aerospace engineering education and US citizenship, with experience in mechanical design and collaboration with suppliers and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering; 1+ years of mechanical design experience
• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering (preferred)
• JD/PhD in Mechanical Engineering (alternative)
• U.S. Citizenship required for consideration

Responsabilités

• Undertake system detailed design and development through gated reviews and evaluate compliance with customer requirements
• Support engineering analyses and development of technical specifications
• Create 3D/2D drawings and assembly drawings for components, subsystems, and systems
• Provide technical inputs for logistics analyses and documentation; support customers, suppliers, and field personnel
• Manage configuration and control changes including design documentation and data deliverables
• Prepare standardization documentation and resolve design/manufacturing/test conflicts
