Job summary

GENESYS Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a seasoned technical architect to lead complex systems design for a 30‑month HBITS engagement in New York. You will architect SOA and cloud platforms, drive security integration, and oversee deployment and operations.

The role requires extensive leadership experience, deep knowledge of IBM DataPower and WSO2 products, and a track record delivering secure, scalable solutions in enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• 84 months of experience architecting service-oriented architecture, PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS.
• 84 months designing secure applications with security APIs, TLS, encryption, and OAuth/SAML/MFA.
• 36+ months leading architectural projects, design, configuration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and security procedures.
• 36 months deploying and monitoring applications with CI and monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical architecture on complex projects and oversee design, deployment and security.
• Manage configurations, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure secure, scalable systems.

Job description

This is a 30 month opportunity on the Hourly-Based IT Services (HBITS) Contract at the State of New York. (Possibility of extension).

Required Experience:

• 84 months of experience architecting service-oriented architecture, platform as a service, infrastructure as a service and software as a service using IBM DataPower, WSO2 API Manager, and WSO2 Identity Manager.
• 84 months of experience designing secure applications using security APIs, transport and message layer security, encryption, and decryption algorithms for data security, SAML, OAuth, multi-factor authentication
• 84 months of experience as lead technical architect on technical projects designing systems architecture, and managing configuration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and preventative maintenance and security procedures.
• 36 months of experience with application deployment and monitoring using continuous integration systems and application monitoring tools.
• 36 months of experience with designing native cloud systems using services in AWS.
