La Sierra University seeks an IT support professional to maintain university systems and cloud services, performing routine administration and troubleshooting.
You will conduct system checks, changes, backups, monitoring, documentation, and coordinate with faculty, staff, students, vendors, and cross-functional teams while prioritizing security and service standards. Some evening or weekend support may be required.
Supports routine administration, monitoring, documentation, and troubleshooting for University systems and cloud services.
Perform system checks, standard changes, account support, patch coordination, documentation, and escalation support.
Assist with backups, monitoring, endpoint/server tasks, and routine service requests.
Contribute to infrastructure inventory, configuration records, and knowledge articles.
Relevant degree, certification, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Strong written, verbal, documentation, and customer-service communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, vendors, and cross-functional teams. Commitment to confidentiality, data stewardship, security awareness, and institutional service standards.
Relevant degree, certification, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Preferred: Higher education technology experience. Experience with Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, endpoint management, cloud services, ticketing, documentation, or project tools.
