The System Administrator, Endpoint provides on-campus technical support to end users by diagnosing, researching, and resolving a wide range of hardware, software, and system-related issues. This position ensures service level agreements are met, delivers high-quality customer service, and performs complex technical tasks to maintain and support endpoint systems across the institution.
- Provide PC hardware/software support.
- Work with end users in analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware/software and some basic network support issues.
- Assist clients in the use of campus computing resources, including virtual desktop infrastructure.
- Install, administer, and troubleshoot computer hardware/software and peripherals on-site and remotely.
- Schedule events requiring Media/IT support and provide AV hardware for instructional and special events on and off campus.
- Maintain call logs, document solutions, and knowledge base articles in ServiceNow.
- Use a variety of advanced tools to support remote locations.
- Maintain a professional demeanor.
- Provide quality customer care in a fast and efficient manner.
COMPETENCIES
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS and Microsoft Office products.
- Experience with Apple or Mac Computers, email, internet, printers, PCs, mobile devices & tablets, and utility software.
- Excellent reading, writing, and English-speaking skills
- Knowledge of basic network and PC technology
- Experience using and supporting a virtual desktop environment
- Ability to install, upgrade, and configure vendor software and hardware.
- Ability to test and support multiple end-user technologies and applications.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and application connectivity across networks and firewalls.
- Ability to answer and resolve hardware and application questions and problems.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Provide technical guidance and support to end-users.

Required Education
Associate's degree in a computer-related discipline
Required Experience
One year of experience as an IT Service Desk Specialist or IT Field Technician
Preferred Education
Bachelor's degree in a computer-related discipline
Preferred Experience
- Experience using the Integrated Voice Response/IP Call Manager system
- Experience with ServiceNow
- One year of PC and/or network experience
Preferred Credentials/Licensures
- IT-relatedcertifications(i.e., CompTIA A+/Network, MTA, AWS, Microsoft Fundamentals)
- Candidate must be willing to pursue additional Technology certifications post-employment as mandated by management.
