Job summary

Copper River is seeking a System Administrator to maintain Windows Server environments, perform patching and upgrades, and ensure security compliance at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. You will implement SOPs, monitor vulnerabilities, and manage AD accounts and file permissions.

The role requires a Secret clearance with potential to obtain Top Secret, and experience with SCCM/IVANTI/WSUS, Splunk, VMware, and various admin tools. A strong cybersecurity background is essential.

Qualifications

• Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret
• Minimum 1 year experience with Windows Server 2008/2012/2016
• Experience with vulnerability management tools and AD account provisioning
• Cybersecurity credentials or equivalent approved training required
• Familiarity with SOPs, patch scheduling and change approvals

Responsibilities

• Test builds, patches and upgrades before production deployment
• Request CMF approval before changes
• Schedule patching using SCCM/IVANTI/WSUS
• Update SOPs related to admin and patching
• Monitor vulnerabilities and respond to findings
• Manage file permissions and AD account creation
