Job summary

Que Technology Group, Inc. is seeking a System Administrator to provide infrastructure server and sustainment services for HPC support.

Responsibilities include configuring Linux, Unix, and Windows systems, maintaining network components, and supporting system design and SOA interdependencies. The role emphasizes troubleshooting complex issues, providing Tier 1–2 help desk support, and day-to-day IT operations across devices and networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of system administration experience or ten (10) years in lieu of degree.
• DoD 8570 IAT II level certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems and related software.
• Support design of systems, mission architecture and hardware.
• Understand system administration interdependencies within SOA.
• Analyze and resolve complex server hardware and software issues.
• Assist users in accessing IT systems and provide Tier 1–2 support.
• Monitor and operate client/server/storage/network devices and day-to-day IT tasks.
• Plan capacity and optimize system operations and resource use.
• Provide feedback to management on escalated tickets and issue resolution.
• Support dispatch and hardware problem resolution processes.

Job description

Que Technology Group, Inc. is seeking System Administrator to provide Infrastructure Server and Sustainment services, to enhance and complement High Performance Computing (HPC) sustainment capabilities.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Configure and manage Linux, Unix, and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance
• Support the design of systems, mission architecture and associated hardware
• Possess a working knowledge and understanding of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
• Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications and software integration
• Assist users in accessing and using IT systems
• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
• Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
• Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning
• Analyze and provide feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets
• Support the dispatch system and hardware problems and remain involved in the resolution process
