Job summary

Peraton is hiring a Storm Force Management Team (SFMT) System Administrator at Fort Meade, MD to support one of the Intelligence Community’s largest enterprise contracts. This full-time position requires 1880 hours of support per year and is performed at a customer location.

You will provide tier 1 helpdesk support, manage user accounts, apply patches on Windows and Linux, update Trellix ePO, run vulnerability and compliance scans, and coordinate IT asset configuration with the ISSO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 5 years SA experience.
• DoD 8570 IAM Level 1 (Security+) required.
• Experience with Windows and Linux, network architectures, and IA metrics.
• Must hold TS/SCI with polygraph eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide tier 1 helpdesk support at an annual exercise event.
• Collect and transfer files between networks.
• Manage user accounts.
• Apply patches on Windows and Linux systems.
• Update Trellix ePO (Formerly McAfee) security files.
• Run and review vulnerability scans and compliance scans.
• Manage configuration control of IT assets.
• Coordinate with event locations to ensure access.
• Operate in coordination with the ISSO.
