Job Description

ProSidian seeks a Systems Administrator responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining application/system services in support of business processing requirements. The role involves scheduling and performing software installations and updates, monitoring and tuning system performance, ensuring workstation/server data integrity, implementing data/media recoverability and backup schedules, developing and promoting standard operating procedures, conducting routine hardware, software, and security audits to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines, and documenting architecture and support procedures. The engagement includes Information Technology Support Services for Command, Control, Communication, Computer, Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) objectives related to on‑site professional support services for six distinct Functional Areas.

Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and maintain application and system services.
  • Schedule and perform software installations and updates according to IT policies.
  • Monitor and tune systems to achieve optimum performance levels.
  • Ensure workstation and server data integrity by evaluating and managing software and hardware solutions.
  • Implement data/media recoverability through scheduled backups and database archive operations.
  • Develop and promote standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct routine hardware, software, and security audits to ensure compliance with standards and policies.
  • Document architecture and support procedures.
Qualifications

U.S. citizenship required. Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) Clearance required. Oracle Database Administrator Certified at “Professional Level” or greater. Extensive experience with web applications, 3‑tier applications, middleware administration, and operational systems maintenance in an Oracle environment. Experience in information systems development, functional and data requirements analysis, systems analysis, and program design.
