Job summary

SGMC Health, Main Campus, Information Services, seeks an IT systems administrator. The role oversees technical support for internal/external departments and vendors, acts as system administrator for upgrades, and coordinates deployments to ensure timely completion.

The candidate should have a healthcare/MIS background, at least four years of computer experience, and strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work under stress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in healthcare, MIS, or related field preferred.
• At least four years computer experience with technical certification or equivalent.
• Precise written and verbal communications and problem solving.
• Knowledgeable in system functionality and supporting software for end users.
• Ability to work in a highly stressful environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical and application support to SGMC Health’s departments and vendors.
• Serves as system administrator for multiple systems and upgrades.
• Coordinates application upgrades and implementations and ensures on-time delivery.
• Provides end-user support and deployment of new equipment as needed.
• Coordinates Vendor Management for installation and issue resolution.
