Job summary

Black Eagle Defense is seeking an experienced System Administrator to oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our IT infrastructure. The role ensures reliability and performance across UNIX and Windows environments, delivering expert-level technical support for daily operations and escalated issues.

You will manage systems, monitor performance, and support the end-to-end resolution of incidents.

Responsibilities

• Systems Management & Optimization: Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems. Install system software, maintain network integrity, optimize resource utilization, and conduct system capacity analysis and planning.
• Operational Support: Maintain IT infrastructure, including client/server, storage, and network devices. Provide day-to-day monitoring and proactively resolve system performance issues.
• Technical Support: Deliver Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) support, identifying and diagnosing complex problems. Coordinate hardware dispatch and support the end-to-end resolution process.
• Communication & Reporting: Serve as a primary point of contact for internal customers and agency management. Provide detailed status updates, feedback on escalated tickets, and assistance to users accessing IT systems.
