Job summary

FLASH Technology Group seeks a System Administrator I/Tier I Help Desk professional to support end-user devices and complex IT environments in Maryland. This role requires TS/SCI with polygraph clearance and offers a 6am–4pm shift after Friday to Monday schedule.

Salary ranges from $85,500 to $96,900 varies with experience and location. You will respond to inquiries, troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, log tickets, mentor trainees, and help maintain IT assets while contributing

Qualifications

• HS or GED with 10 years of experience required.
• BS with 5 years of experience required.
• Must have Customer Service and ServiceNow experience.
• IAT Level I certification.
• US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, chat, or ticketing systems.
• Log and track support requests using help desk ticketing systems.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across hardware, software and network connectivity.
• Provide step-by-step guidance to users for troubleshooting.
• Escalate complex issues to second-level support or specialized teams via ticketing systems.
• Mentor new hires and trainees when needed.
• Install, configure, and update software on user devices.
• Assist with password resets, account lockouts and access issues.
• Support basic printer, scanner, and peripheral troubleshooting.
• Help maintain inventory of IT assets.
• Document and report solutions and procedures for recurring issues for leadership review.
• Maintain accurate records/tickets of support interactions and resolutions.
• Contribute to knowledge base articles for colleagues and users.
