Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Miami, FL seeks a Systems Administrator to support, maintain, and monitor Windows Server, virtualization, cloud, and Microsoft infrastructure. You will work with senior team members to ensure reliability, security, and performance of IT systems, and mentor the Service Desk.

You will manage Nutanix virtualization, AD/DNS/DHCP/Group Policy, 365, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), plus backups and patching. On-call rotation and documentation duties are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
• 2–4 years of Systems Administration experience.
• Experience with Windows Server environments.
• Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration.
• Experience with Cloud administration (Azure or AWS).
• Experience with backups and recovery processes.
• PowerShell scripting familiarity preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support Nutanix virtualization and virtualization infrastructure.
• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Assist with Microsoft 365 administration and automation tasks.
• Assist with Cloud administration (Azure or AWS).
• Monitor infrastructure health, performance, and availability.
• Assist with system patching, software deployments, and maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot server, application, and infrastructure issues.
• Assist with backup and recovery operations and testing.
• Maintain system documentation, procedures, and inventory records.
• Participate in infrastructure projects and upgrades.
• Follow security policies and assist with vulnerability remediation.
• Provide technical support to Service Desk and escalate when needed.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
