RealmOne seeks a skilled System Administrator to support full lifecycle IT resources on a DoD contract. You will handle Tier 1–2 help desk functions, configure and maintain UNIX/Linux/Windows platforms, and ensure security controls are applied. Experience with AWS, Terraform, and code repos is highly valued.

Candidate must have DoD IAT II and an active polygraph clearance. A technical bachelor's and 5 years SA experience are preferred for this role in Maryland/Baltimore.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; four (4) years SA experience may substitute for a bachelor degree.
• Five (5) years of SA experience in programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• DoD 8570 compliance Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification.
• Active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph.

Job Description

Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of information Technology (IT) systems. Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems. Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process. Configures and manages UNIX, Linux and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance. The Level 1 System Administrator shall possess the following capabilities: * Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems

• Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems
• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
• Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems
• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
• Perform account management, e.g. establishing, activating, modifying, disabling, and removing accounts.
• Provide configuration management, implementation, and sustainment of compliance with applicable system security controls.
• Perform periodic vulnerability scans of systems
• Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. * Implement IAVA security patches and insure patch status is recorded in appropriate systems of record.
• Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customer.
• Optimize system operations and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
• Experience with Linux, Patching, STE/STN, AWS, GitLab/GitHub, Terraform.
• Bonus Experience: VMware, Confluence, and Scripting. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• Five (5) years' experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
