Job summary

Hexagon’s Autonomous Solutions division is seeking a System Administrator to join our Tucson, AZ hybrid team. You will deploy, configure, and maintain cloud and on-premises infrastructure to support secure, reliable services for a global organization.

The role collaborates with IS and development teams, emphasizes automation, security, disaster recovery, and documentation, and requires deep knowledge of AWS/Azure, VMware, Windows Server, and networking.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a System Administrator managing cloud-based systems and infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
  • Solid understanding of VMware technologies including vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and vSAN.
  • Extensive experience administering Windows Server environments including Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, and DNS.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure operations, security, and system availability concepts.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Nice to have Linux server administration and configuration management tools such as Proxmox, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and security principles across VMware, Windows, and cloud environments.
  • Experience with scripting and automation in Linux and Windows environments.
  • Professional certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.

  • Research and implement improvements that enhance system performance, scalability, and security.

Hexagon’s Autonomous Solutions division is looking for a System Administrator to join our team in Tucson, AZ. Reporting to the Information Systems Infrastructure team, this role will deploy, configure, and maintain cloud and on-premises infrastructure while supporting secure, reliable, and scalable technology services that enable business operations and product development across a global organization.

The Location: This hybrid position is based in Tucson, AZ.
