Job summary

SBS in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Senior Cloud System Administrator to own and optimize our hybrid cloud and virtualization environment. You will collaborate with architects and security teams to drive design, build, and automation across AWS, Azure, and VMware.

The role emphasizes mentoring junior admins, documenting architectures, and ensuring scalability, security, and performance of cloud platforms with Terraform, Ansible, and monitoring tooling like Centreon.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in systems administration, including 3–5 years working with cloud infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud networking concepts.
• Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation/Aria Suite and managing virtualized environments.
• Very good scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Terraform).
• Experience in system monitoring and performance tuning (Centreon).
• Familiarity with identity, access management, and security in cloud environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.

Position Overview

This is more than a job. It's a chance to build, grow, and make a real impact! Join our global infrastructure team as our new Senior Cloud System Administrator.

In this role, you will take ownership of critical components of our cloud and virtualization environments, contribute to architecture decisions, and lead implementation efforts for new infrastructure services.

This is a hybrid role (3 days per week work from the office).

Responsibilities
