Qualifications

• 5+ years of systems administrator experience with cloud deployments.
• Hands-on AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
• VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter/vSAN expertise.
• Windows Server administration including AD, GPO, DHCP, DNS.
• Networking, security, and high-availability fundamentals.
• Certifications such as VCP or Azure Admin are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, monitor, and maintain on-premises and cloud-based services, platforms, and applications.

Overview

Hexagon’s Autonomous Solutions division is looking for a System Administrator to join our team in Tucson, AZ . Reporting to the Information Systems Infrastructure team, this role will deploy, configure, and maintain cloud and on-premises infrastructure while supporting secure, reliable, and scalable technology services that enable business operations and product development across a global organization.

Responsibilities

As System Administrator you will be responsible for these activities:

• Manage and maintain cloud and datacentre infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across public and private cloud environments.

Qualifications

Must Have:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a System Administrator managing cloud-based systems and infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Microsoft Azure.
• Solid understanding of VMware technologies including vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and vSAN.
• Extensive experience administering Windows Server environments including Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, and DNS.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure operations, security, and system availability concepts.
• Excellent troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.

Nice To Have:

• Experience with Linux server administration and configuration management tools such as Proxmox, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and security principles across VMware, Windows, and cloud environments.
• Experience with scripting and automation in Linux and Windows environments.
• Professional certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
