Job summary

The Ideal Tridon Group is seeking a Systems Administrator / Analyst to join our Corporate IT Department in Smyrna, TN. You will maintain global infrastructure, configure ERP systems, manage servers, networks, and user support, and evaluate new technologies.

Five+ years in systems/network analysis with Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, and SQL Server is required. ERP and collaboration tools experience, plus the ability to work after hours, is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Five plus years as a systems / network analyst using Windows Server, AD, VMware, and SQL Server.
• Experience with ERP systems, SharePoint, Cognos, and EDI tools is a plus.
• Ability to support global IT devices and applications and work after hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain infrastructure for Global Ideal Tridon Group companies, including hardware and software.
• Configure and support servers, PCs, network switches, and wireless access points.
• Manage ERP system configuration, backups, imaging, and user support.

We are seeking a Systems Administrator / Analyst for our Corporate IT Department in Smyrna, TN.

Summary

The System Administrator / Systems Analyst is responsible to support IT devices and applications worldwide. This includes but is not limited to, servers, pcs, network switches, phone systems, ERP systems, user applications, and wireless access points. This includes configuring the ERP system, building pcs, maintaining switches, running cabling, maintaining servers, moving hardware, etc. Evaluating and implementing new systems and technologies will also be a critical function of this role.

Essential Functions

• Maintain the infrastructure for the Global Ideal Tridon Group companies, including hardware and software applications.
• Maintain and protect all company proprietary and confidential information.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Five plus years as a systems / network analyst using the following technologies:
• Windows Server 2022,2019,2012, and Windows 10/11
• Managing Switches, VLANs, and Wireless Access Points.
• SQL Server 2022,2019, 2016,2012 and Syspro Systems, PC Imaging and setup.
• Active Directory, VMware setup and administration, DHCP administration, IPhone, IPad and Android support, WSUS administration, Active Directory and group policies, DNS, DHCP, Symantec Antivirus, VMware, firewalls (i.e. SonicWall, DUO MFA, Barracuda, Webroot, SANs, Hyperconverged environments, Avaya/Mitel phone systems).
• Experience with server backup operations (i.e. Symantec Backup Exec).
• Experience with Webroot, O365 administration.
• Experience with supporting WFH users.
• Ability to develop desktop images, some desktop calls.
• Good understanding of project management techniques and time management.
• Team player, be driven and self-motivated and be able to work in a fast paced, high energy environment.
• Able to support after hours work. The candidate must be a self-starter and flexible and able to adapt and learn new technologies and support our user base worldwide.
• Possess an Understanding of software development and maintenance.
• Understanding of manufacturing and distribution and ERP systems is a huge plus.
• Ability to maintain Sharepoint, Cognos, Filemaker, Infor EDI.
• Other tasks as required.
