Job summary

Gravity IT Resources is partnering with a healthcare organization in Palm Springs, CA, seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to support Windows Server, Azure, M365, AD, and VMware in a large production environment.

You'll join a hybrid team working across cloud, virtualization, storage, and backup, with opportunities to lead migrations from VMware to Nutanix and engage in large modernization initiatives.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of enterprise Systems Administration experience.
• Experience administering Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Experience supporting VMware or similar enterprise virtualization platforms.
• Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure in production environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a collaborative approach to problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise Windows Server infrastructure across a large production environment.
• Manage Microsoft technologies including Azure, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Support virtualization platforms including VMware while helping drive an upcoming migration to Nutanix.
• Participate in infrastructure projects such as server deployments, upgrades, cloud initiatives, and enterprise technology rollouts.
• Support backup, storage, disaster recovery, and general infrastructure operations.
• Work directly with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and scheduled maintenance activities to support a 24/7 healthcare environment.

We're partnering with a leading healthcare organization that's investing heavily in its infrastructure, including Microsoft 365 modernization, Azure expansion, and a large-scale migration from VMware to Nutanix. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative infrastructure team where you'll gain exposure across cloud, virtualization, storage, backup, and enterprise systems rather than being siloed into a single technology.

• Experience with Citrix, NetScaler, F5, or CrowdStrike.
• Security+ or other Microsoft or infrastructure certifications.
