Base pay range

$35.00/hr - $40.00/hr

MUST RESIDE IN PA - ONE AND DONE ON-SITE INTERVIEW HARRISBURG, PA

Required Skills:

1. Shell Scripting
2. Experience writing Ansible playbooks
3. Experience with VMWare
4. Working Knowledge of:
5. ServiceNow Ticketing
6. Git Server

Server Administration:

1. Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers, ensuring high availability and performance.
2. Perform system upgrades, patch management, and security enhancements. (Satellite)
3. Troubleshoot and resolve server-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.
4. Creating "golden" system images
5. Install and configure Linux OS using Satellite or CD
6. Container setup and deployment
7. Container administration
8. Building automated systems. Ansible automation of tasks.
9. Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)

User Account Management:

1. Setup user accounts and SUDO access
2. Setup group access
3. Implement security policies to protect sensitive data

Maintain security:

1. FireEye

Networking:

1. Setup bonding and EtherChannel’s
2. Work with networking to resolve issues

Backups and monitoring:

1. Work with the backup team to back up the OSs
2. Work with the monitoring team to setup alerting for the OSs

Containerization:

1. Maintain containered environments
2. Migrate applications to Linux containers

Documentation:

1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations and procedures.
2. Act on and document fixes in tickets.

Compensation:

$35/hr to $40/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
