Job summary

Constellation Technologies, Inc. is seeking a highly qualified Systems Administrator to support a federal contract in Maryland. U.S.

citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph are required. The candidate should have 8–14 years of direct/relevant experience, a technical Bachelor's degree, and proficiency with Windows Server 2019 and Active Directory. The role involves software/hardware deployment, patching, backups, and working with SALT, Ansible, Splunk, Puppet, SolarWinds,

Qualifications

• Must hold US citizenship and TS/SCI with polygraph.
• 8–14 years direct/relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred.
• Must have experience as a systems administrator providing direct support to end users and technical staff (developers, testers, engineers, etc.).
• Must be proficient with Windows Server 2019 and Active Directory.
• Must have experience with software/hardware deployment, patches, operating systems, and basic system backup and restore functions.
• Must have experience with SALT, Ansible, Splunk, Puppet, SolarWinds, Nessus.
• Must have experience with and/or have knowledge of Red Hat and VMWare.
• Must have a solid understanding of advanced security protocols and standards.
• Must have experience with both Client and Server virtualization environments.
• Must have experience with installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and reimaging hardware.
• Must have a solid understanding of information security principles and practices.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to support occasional day or short duration travel.
• These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
• Proficiency with SQL Server.
• SALT and Python scripting experience.
• Experience supporting a software configuration management and development environment.
• Experience working in an Agile Development Environment or on an Agile Team.
• Knowledge of PKI systems which use HSMs to validate key and NTP for synchronization.
• Knowledge of PowerShell and PowerCLI.
• Experience in documenting and providing information for security accreditation and certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to end users and technical staff (developers, testers, engineers, etc.).
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and reimage hardware.
• Maintain and support virtualization environments (Client and Server).
