Job summary

IDS International is seeking a System Administrator to support the administration, maintenance, and security of mission systems and network environments at Fort Bragg, NC. The role covers server administration, virtualization platforms, cybersecurity requirements, and Joint/Army Mission Command systems in support of operational needs.

The ideal candidate holds an active Secret clearance, an IT-related associate degree or military training, and relevant certifications (Security+ CE or CySA+).

Qualifications

• Secret clearance required.
• Associate degree in IT or equivalent military training or equivalent.
• DCWF System Administrator 451 Basic proficiency certification.
• Security+ CE or CySA+ certifications are acceptable.
• Demonstrated knowledge of system administration, network and OS hardening techniques.
• Knowledge of file systems NTFS, FAT, EXT.
• Knowledge of IT security principles and methods (firewalls, DMZs, encryption).
• Knowledge of network protocols TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS.
• Familiarity with system/server command line/prompt.
• Experience with virtualization technologies and VM management.
• In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Server environments, VMware (vCenter), and SharePoint administration.
• Experience with Joint/Army Mission Command systems (e.g., TAK, CPCE, SOF MC).
• Experience with DoD security tools (ACAS, AESS, Trellix, Defender).

• Demonstrated knowledge of file system implementations (NTFS, FAT, EXT).
