Job summary

Franklin Fitch in Austin is seeking a Systems Engineer with hands-on expertise in Microsoft 365 and Intune to modernize our cloud and endpoint environments. You will design, deploy and manage M365 services, Intune configurations, and Entra ID across hybrid infrastructures.

This role focuses on deploying Windows Autopilot, managing endpoint compliance, and automating tasks with PowerShell while collaborating with security, networking and IT operations to deliver reliable, secure solutions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Systems Engineering or Microsoft infrastructure experience.
• Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365.
• Proven experience deploying Microsoft Intune in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of Entra ID, Active Directory, Conditional Access and MFA.
• Experience with Windows Autopilot, endpoint compliance and app deployment.
• Hybrid Microsoft infrastructure knowledge and Azure familiarity.
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage Microsoft Intune for endpoint configuration, compliance, application deployment and device lifecycle management.
• Configure and maintain Windows Autopilot, device enrollment and provisioning processes.
• Administer Entra ID (Azure AD), including Conditional Access, MFA, identity management and access policies.
• Manage Windows 10/11 endpoints, ensuring security, compliance and consistent configurations.
• Support Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and endpoint security initiatives.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across M365, Intune, Azure and hybrid Microsoft environments.
• Support Active Directory, Group Policy and hybrid identity integrations.
• Lead Microsoft 365 migrations, tenant configurations and endpoint modernization projects.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, networking and security teams on wider IT projects.
• Produce technical documentation and provide escalation support for complex systems issues.

We're working with an established IT services organization in Austin looking to add a Systems Engineer with strong Microsoft 365 and Intune experience.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on managing, implementing and improving Microsoft cloud and endpoint environments. You'll work across Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID and Azure, supporting infrastructure modernization, endpoint deployments, security improvements and ongoing systems engineering initiatives.
