Job summary

Alpha Omega Integration in San Antonio, TX seeks a System Administration professional focused on application packaging. The role requires designing, building, and delivering packaged applications and configurations for the enterprise, with emphasis on security baselines and STIG alignment.

You will work with DISA/NIST guidance, maintain baselines, scripting, and testing across endpoints. Applicants should have a BS in IT or related field, 3+ years of relevant experience, and an active Secret

• BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Active Secret (or above) Clearance

Responsibilities

• Engineer, design, consult, build, script and deliver applications and application packages using enterprise tools for delivery and sustainment of those applications and packages
• Provide scripts, packages, configurations, automations, and custom code for developing, delivering, sustaining, and patching applications and their packaging; manage baselines and configurations and test integration across endpoints and configurations
• Leverage hypervisors and other development platforms to test and validate delivery models
• Integrate STIG settings into applications and configurations for compliance with security baselines (DISA/NIST)
• Provide IAVM compliance for applications and application packages
• All other duties as assigned

Job Title: System Administration Application Packaging

Clearance Required: Secret

Work Location: Onsite, San Antonio, TX

Key Responsibilities

• Engineer, design, consult, build, script and deliver applications and application packages using available enterprise management products and tools that allow MHS/DHA enterprise delivery capabilities and sustainment of those applications and packages.
• Provide scripts, packages, configurations, automations, and custom code necessary for developing, delivering, sustaining, and patching applications and their packaging. Manage application baselines and configurations to include fully testing integration across the disparate endpoints and myriad combinations of software configurations.
• Leverage hypervisors and other development platforms to test and validate delivery models.
• Proficiency with configuration guidance provided by DISA and NIST with the ability to integrate STIG settings into applications, configurations, endpoint experience, applications, service consumption and delivery, and packages for compliance with necessary security and configuration baselines.
• Provide IAVM compliance for applications and application packages.
• All other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Education:

• BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution

Experience / Skills:

• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Active Secret (or above) Clearance

Certification(s):

• CompTIA Security+ or similar (Cloud+ or GICSP or SSCP or GSEC)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $78,000 - $113,785. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range.
