Job summary

Independent Software, Inc. seeks a System Administrator Level 2 to support enterprise systems for mission-critical operations. You maintain servers, troubleshoot issues, and ensure security and performance. Candidates should have DoD 8570 IAT Level I and an active TS SCI with polygraph.

The role requires night shifts (Wed–Sun, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM) and on-site presence, with initial training Mon–Fri 6:00 AM–2:00 PM. Competitive compensation and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Experience with system administration and maintenance in enterprise IT environments.
• Strong ability to diagnose and resolve system, application, and network-related problems.
• Experience with system monitoring, performance, availability, and capacity management.
• Knowledge of system security controls, access management, endpoint protection, and firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, manage, and maintain servers, operating systems, and key applications.
• Apply patches, updates, and configuration changes following change management.
• Perform routine health checks, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
• Diagnose and resolve system, application, and network issues.
• Provide advanced technical support for escalated issues from help desk.
