Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Jersey City, NJ seeks an experienced Syndicated Loan Transaction Coordinator - Associate to coordinate complex syndicated loan and letter of credit transactions.

You will work with Corporate Investment and Commercial Banks, reviewing documents, reference data, and ensuring regulatory and operational risk controls are met. Team interactions span Debt Capital Markets, Credit Risk, Legal, and international partners.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree plus a minimum of 5 years of Syndicated Loan experience.
• Strong understanding of credit agreements, loan funding mechanics, deal structure, fees and funds flows.
• Experience in financial services, specifically Investment Banking.
• Experience coordinating with clients to collect and review pre-syndicated loan documentation ahead of closing large syndicated structures.

Responsibilities

• Assign, manage, and maintain Investment and Commercial Bank transaction pipeline.
• Assist junior analysts and act as point of escalation on loan transactions.
• Review legal loan documentation for feasibility, regulatory requirements, and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate with internal teams and lenders on closing documentation and funding mechanics.
• Discuss funding mechanics and internal booking locations, regional and currency policies.
• Initiate trade settlement processes and coordinate with trade settlement teams for Term Loan transactions.
• Communicate and coordinate fee documentation and ensure proper controls and risk mitigation.
• Identify control gaps and propose global-scale process improvements.
• Participate in working groups and coordinate with international counterparts on cross-border deals.
