Job summary

JPMorganChase in New Jersey is seeking a Syndicated Loan Transaction Coordinator – Associate to join the Wholesale Lending Services team. You will coordinate complex syndicated loans and LC transactions, review documents for regulatory compliance, and work cross-functionally with Debt Capital Markets, Credit Risk, Legal and other partners.

You will guide junior analysts, manage pipelines, and ensure accurate booking across regions and currencies.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree plus a minimum of 5 years of Syndicated Loan experience.
• Knowledge of the Loan product / Syndicated Loan business, including loan funding mechanics and deal structure.
• Experience working with clients to gather and review pre-syndicated loan documentation.
• Proven ability to collaborate with team members and senior management with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assign, manage, and maintain the Investment and Commercial Bank transaction pipeline.
• Assist junior analysts as point of escalation and provide escalation guidance.
• Review legal loan documentation for feasibility and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate closing documentation with Debt Capital Markets, Credit Risk, and Legal teams.
• Advise on funding mechanics and internal booking locations and currency policies.
• Initiate trade settlement process and coordinate with settlement teams for term loans.
• Communicate and coordinate fee documentation and recognition; ensure risk mitigation.
• Identify control gaps and propose global-scale process improvements.
• Engage with international counterparts on cross-border deals.
