Job summary

TrulyHired in Savannah, GA is seeking a Project Manager to provide leadership for infrastructure, operational, and safety-related technology initiatives across the district. You will coordinate efforts between Technology, Operations, and Campus Police to ensure projects stay on schedule and within scope.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or PMP, 3–5 years of PM experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to drive projects from initiation to completion.

  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings and ensure alignment across departments and stakeholders.
  • Track project progress, identify risks, and drive timely resolution of issues.
  • Coordinate vendor activities and ensure work is completed according to project requirements.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

This position provides project management leadership for infrastructure, operational, and safety-related technology initiatives across the district. The Project Manager coordinates efforts between Technology, Operations, and Campus Police to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with district priorities.

REQUIREMENTS:

Educational Level:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field OR Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Preferred:

  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a degree in Construction, Project Management, Engineering, Business, Computer Science or related field.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage projects from initiation through completion
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred
  • Experience in K-12 or public sector environments
  • Experience with infrastructure, network, device deployment, or operational projects
  • Experience working with safety systems (cameras, access control, emergency communication systems)
  • PMP or equivalent certification

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead planning and execution of infrastructure, operational, and technology related projects.
  • Coordinate efforts between Technology, Operations, and Campus Police for projects involving safety systems and facilities.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and status reports to ensure timely delivery.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings and ensure alignment across departments and stakeholders.
  • Track project progress, identify risks, and drive timely resolution of issues.
  • Coordinate vendor activities and ensure work is completed according to project requirements.
  • Support implementation of systems such as cameras, access control, network infrastructure, and device deployments.
  • Ensure documentation, communication, and follow-up for all project activities.
  • Assist in improving operational processes and service delivery across departments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Incumbents are considered "at will." Appropriate pay will be determined based on the Grade as determined by Human Resources and the incumbent's allowable experience. The work calendar will be 250 days. (303) Exempt Revised 04-2025
