Job summary

HICO America in Pittsburgh, PA, seeks a Switchgear Warranty Service Coordinator to help evaluate, negotiate, and settle warranty claims and field service orders across GIS product offerings. You will partner with engineering, procurement, manufacturing, quality, and project managers to resolve claims per contract.

The role requires excellent customer communication, the ability to analyze drawings, and a willingness to travel up to 10% to support customers and service teams.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related discipline from an accredited university.
• Will accept relevant work experience in lieu of engineering degree.
• Experience: 1-2 years in a technical field service/warranty role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, PowerPoint) and ability to read engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating, negotiating, and settling warranty claims and field service orders.
• Coordinate warranty resolution plans with engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and quality teams.
• Provide status updates to Project Managers and customers, ensuring contractual obligations are met.
• Maintain accurate records of warranty claims, service orders, and communications.
