Job summary

HICO America, headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA, with facilities in Los Angeles and Greensburg, PA, seeks a Switchgear Solutions Coordinator to support multiple GIS projects. You will coordinate internal resources, manage schedules, and help maintain customer specifications while protecting margins and ensuring successful project execution.

The role requires strong communication, project coordination experience, and ability to travel up to 10% to customer sites and projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Developed verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literate with MS Office products, Microsoft Project, and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage the execution of our GIS project portfolio.
• Maintain schedule and ensure customer specifications are met.
• Ensure HICO profit margin is protected and increased where applicable.
• Visit customer project sites to verify GIS execution plans against site conditions.
• Serve as main facilitator between engineering, procurement, and sales.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure value for HICO.
• Assist Project Managers with additional tasks as needed.
