Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
3–5 years of relevant electrical engineering experience, preferably in switchgear/switchboards.
Working knowledge of UL 891 requirements and low‑voltage switchboard construction.
Strong understanding of AC power distribution systems and control circuits.
Experience reading and creating electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and single‑line diagrams.

Responsibilities

Design and engineer low‑voltage switchboards and switchgear assemblies per customer specs and standards.
Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and panel layouts.
Select electrical components such as circuit breakers, busbars, CTs/PTs, relays, and control devices.
Perform electrical calculations for load, short‑circuit current, busbar sizing, and voltage drop.
Support UL/NEC/NFPA compliance and coordinate with manufacturing and purchasing.
Prepare manufacturing drawings and assist with design reviews and issue resolution.
