Job summary

Colonial Electric Company is seeking a Gear Specialist for a full-time remote role in the United States. You'll build and maintain relationships with key customers, support multiple teams, and drive profitable orders while staying current with industry trends.

You will collaborate with outside sales and manufacturers, review plans and RFQs, and ensure timely responses and accurate pricing. A strong customer-service mindset is essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in business or a related field.
• This role requires overtime as necessary.
• Strong problem solving skills and customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with key customers.
• Support Manager and branch operations as needed.
• Collaborate with outside sales and manufacturers to pursue opportunities.
• Review plans, specs, and RFQs to prepare responsible bids and quotes.
• Close clean and profitable orders and provide market feedback.
• Provide timely responses to emails and voicemails within four hours.
• Deliver organized submittal packages with PMs for customers.
• Stay current with industry trends, products and pricing.
