PowerSecure is seeking a Switchgear Quality Technical Trainer in Durham, NC to onboard, train, and continuously develop Technicians across levels I to Senior. This role delivers structured training, hands-on instruction, and drives safety, quality, and production standards.

The Trainer brings deep technical knowledge of switchgear and power generation assembly, plus strong communication and coaching skills to translate complex concepts for diverse learners, including bilingual English/Spanish

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in a technical, manufacturing, or engineering field preferred.
• 4+ years in manufacturing/technical environments (switchgear, power generation, or similar) preferred.
• Experience in training, coaching, onboarding, or workforce development preferred.
• Experience developing or delivering structured training programs preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead structured onboarding programs for new technicians.
• Deliver hands-on and classroom training on mechanical and electrical assembly processes.
• Ensure new hires reach baseline competency in safety, quality, and production standards.
• Create a positive onboarding experience and ongoing training for technicians at all levels.
• Track and document training progress and skill development.
• Support rollout of new processes and changes through training initiatives.
