Job summary

NATIONAL RETAIL TRANSPORTATION in Compton, CA is seeking experienced CDL-A PART-TIME Switchers (Yard Jockeys) to join our team. The Switcher safely moves trailers to and from the warehouse dock to yard locations.

We offer PART TIME shifts with a home daily schedule and pay of $36 per hour. Shifts include 1st & 2nd, with modern, well-maintained equipment and a stable, consistent work environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum of 1 year Class A driving experience (or equivalent) within the last 3 years.
• Must meet DOT regulations and have clean MVR/PSP history preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English per DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Switcher safely moves trailers to and from the warehouse dock to yard locations.
• Maintain safe and organized yard and dock operations.
• Report any equipment or safety issues promptly.

NATIONAL REATAIL TRANSPORTATION is hiring experienced CDL-A PART-TIME Switchers (Yard Jockeys) to join our team in Compton, CA! The Switcher safely moves trailers to and from the warehouse dock to yard locations in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Minimum of 1 year Class A driving experience (or equivalent military driving experience) within the last 3 years
• Must maintain a safety-focused driving history; clean MVR/PSP and employment history preferred
• Ability to read, write, and speak English in compliance with DOT regulations
• Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet DOT medical qualifications
• Current DOT physical certification
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
