Job summary

NATIONAL REATAIL TRANSPORTATION is hiring experienced CDL-A PART-TIME Switchers (Yard Jockeys) to join our team in Compton, CA! The Switcher safely moves trailers to and from the warehouse dock to yard locations in a timely manner.

What We Offer Our Truck Drivers: PART TIME, Home Daily, PAY: $36 to $37 per hour, Shift: 1st & 2nd shift available, Modern, Well-Maintained Equipment, 30 HOURS MAX per week.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 1 year Class A driving experience within the last 3 years.
• Clean MVR/PSP and employment history preferred.
• Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet DOT medical qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Safely move trailers between warehouse dock and yard locations.
• Maintain timely, efficient yard operations.

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Minimum of 1 year Class A driving experience (or equivalent military driving experience) within the last 3 years
• Must maintain a safety-focused driving history; clean MVR/PSP and employment history preferred
• Ability to read, write, and speak English in compliance with DOT regulations
• Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet DOT medical qualifications
• Current DOT physical certification
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
