Job summary

Metrolina Greenhouses Inc. is seeking a 1st Shift Switcher Driver for our Huntersville, NC facility. The role involves safely moving trailers between docks in a fast-paced environment and supporting the dock and other labor teams as needed.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of switcher or OTR trailer driving, are detail-oriented, reliable, and able to multitask as part of a collaborative team. This full-time position is outdoors with occasional indoor admin duties and requires readiness for varying

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience driving a switcher or OTR trailer.
• Detailed-oriented, accurate, reliable, able to multitask, and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Drive 18-wheelers from dock to dock within the facilities.
• Ensure a safe work environment.
• Communicate with the dock crews, drivers, and other switchers throughout the facility.
• Operate the fuel truck when needed.
• Complete dock work as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
