Missouri State University is seeking a Switchboard Operator to handle the main campus switchboard, serving as the first contact for callers and transfers to appropriate offices. The role requires strict confidentiality and fluent English communication.
Typical hours include 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mon-Fri, with average weekly hours of 8–15; availability through Spring 2029 and summer is preferred. Work location is Springfield Campus and the department is Networking and Telecommunications.

Must be responsible and demonstrate the ability to fluently speak and comprehend the English language.
Manual dexterity for computer operation and applications related to the job.
Customer service experience and excellent communication skills are required.
Prefer minimum of 2 years remaining at MSU .
