Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Pomona, CA is seeking Mechanical Assemblers for the 2nd shift (4:00pm – 12:30 Midnight). The role includes assembling and modifying electromechanical equipment using mechanical tools and blueprints, with a three-month training program on the 1st shift.

You will process work orders, scan in/out, read blueprints and BOMs, fasten components to frames, and maintain a safe, clean workspace. Ability to stand 10–12 hours and lift up to 50 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and use of basic mechanical /measuring tools.
• Ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Ability to stand to perform job duties.
• Ability to reach, grasp and lift up to 50lbs, push/pull and slide heavy material.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be thorough and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be willing to learn all equipment operated in the facility, and follow established processes.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and/or modify electromechanical equipment (e.g. Switchboards, Lighting Panels) using mechanical tools and blueprints.
• Process work orders (with the use of computers, scanning devices) in adherence to the production schedule or expedited orders.
• Scan in and out of work orders (with the use of computers, scanning devices).
• Read and interpret documents associated with the completion of mechanical assembly (blue prints, bill of materials, one line diagrams).
• Fasten component parts on cubicles or frames, subassemblies, or unit assemblies.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work area to ensure proper functioning and safe conditions.
• Must be able to stand for 10-12 hour shifts.
