Job Details

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Consulting to Hire Swiss/Turn Mill Programmer to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This position will offer the successful candidate an exciting opportunity to be part of a world-class team, working with cutting-edge technology and machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC Swiss Turning Centers, as well as performing material planning and first piece inspection.

Responsibilities

• Programming and operating CNC Swiss Turning Centers to manufacture precision components.
• Developing and implementing CNC programs for new projects using G Code.
• Performing first piece inspection to ensure quality and consistency.
• Setting up and operating CNC Lathes and CNC Mills.
• Participating in design reviews to improve product manufacturability.
• Providing technical support to the production team and troubleshooting any issues that arise during the manufacturing process.
• Performing material planning to ensure adequate supplies for production.
• Collaborating with engineers and other team members to improve manufacturing processes and overall product quality.
• Ensuring all safety procedures are followed and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Swiss Machinist.
• Proficiency in G Code and CNC programming.
• Experience with CNC Lathes and CNC Mills.
• Strong knowledge of material planning processes.
• Proven experience in first piece inspection.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• A strong understanding of safety procedures and the ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field is preferred.
