Job summary

CompX International is seeking a Team Member MI - Swiss Lathe Machinist for the 3rd shift in Mauldin, SC. You will be responsible for setting up and operating Swiss Lathes while maintaining quality and high efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, along with at least 5 years of CNC Mill/Lathe programming experience. Excellent benefits, including medical insurance and 401k plans, are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years CNC Mill/Lathe programming and operational experience is required.
• Very strong math background, preferable in machine math/shop math.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate Swiss Lathe in a team environment.
• Use precision measuring tools to check and inspect to close tolerance requirements.
• Read precision measuring instruments such as comparators and calipers.
