Job summary

Avalign Technologies is seeking CNC Lathe Operators to own Swiss-style lathe setups, changeovers, tool loading, and CNC program debugging on precision parts used in medical instruments. You’ll load fixtures, validate programs, and ensure first-pass quality.

You will work with Citizen/Tsugami Swiss platforms, read blueprints, and measure with calipers and micrometers, while logging results in the ERP system. Training is provided and collaboration across teams is encouraged.

Qualifications

• 5+ years operating Swiss-style lathes in manufacturing.
• Hands-on with Citizen/Tsugami Swiss platforms (preferred).
• Reading blueprints and inspection sheets to print.
• Knowledge of gauges, calipers and metrology for quality.
• Avalign Quality System understanding and change control familiarity.

Responsibilities

Transform raw stock into life-improving medical instrumentsYou’ll own the full Swiss-style turning process—from first setup to final inspection—on precision parts used in instruments and implants. Each shift, you’ll stage material, dial in tools, validate programs, and keep the spindles cutting while quality and delivery stay on target.We are willing to train CNC Lathe Operators!A day in this roleYou arrive with a production plan and a queue of work orders in the ERP. You load tools and fixtures, perform changeovers, and step through CNC program debugging. You’ll make careful machine offsets and adjustments, then begin production—monitoring throughput with our machine monitoring system and logging in-process results electronically. You deburr, finish, and verify dimensions with calipers, micrometers, height stands, and comparators. When you spot a gap, you solve it: tweak feeds/speeds, collaborate with programmers, or improve a setup sheet.
