Job summary

PRECISION MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIES is seeking an Advanced Machinist responsible for operating and assisting with programming production machines, ensuring product quality and providing expertise in machining operations. This role requires a high level of skill and autonomy, with the ability to troubleshoot and make decisions independently.

Key duties include setting up machines, following quality procedures, and supporting process improvements.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Nonessential skills: Previous machining, Blueprint reading, Understanding and application of GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Power up machines, zero return axis to home, assist with setup on machines for production runs.
• Follow and develop quality procedures, identify dimensions and check using in-process inspection sheet.
• Make precise offsets to tools or work positions to achieve dimensionally acceptable products.
• Understand surface finish requirements and optimize machining parameters.
• Maintain and verify material, size, quantity and notes in production travelers.
