Rusco Manufacturing in Machesney Park, IL is seeking a Swiss-Type Lathe Setup Specialist to load programs on Star Swiss CNC lathes, dial in offsets, and run production pieces.

You will read blueprints with GD&T, perform first‑article inspections, monitor tool wear, and collaborate with engineering and quality to maintain part adherence.

This is a full‑time role offering hourly pay between $22 and $28, with overtime opportunities, comprehensive benefits, and room for skill advancement.

Formación

• Reading engineering drawings and GD&T callouts.
• Experience performing first‑article and in‑process inspections.
• Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and pin gauges.
• Knowledge of Star CNC controls, offsets, feeds, and speeds.
• Ability to troubleshoot dimensional drift and tooling wear.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and run Star Swiss CNC lathes for production.
• Install and adjust tooling, guide bushings, collets, and related hardware.
• Load programs and refine tool/work offsets to meet print.
• Read blueprints and GD&T, interpret engineering drawings.
• Perform first‑piece and in‑process inspections with precision tools.
• Monitor machine performance and part quality; document results.
• Troubleshoot tooling wear and adjust parameters to maintain accuracy.
• Maintain production and inspection records; ensure safety and organization.
