Job summary

Triple-S Steel Holdings, Inc. is seeking a motivated Production Supervisor for the swing shift in the Slitter Department.

You will oversee safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely delivery of materials to customers within your territory, ensuring health and safety requirements are met. The role includes managing assets, conducting regular audits and inventory, maintaining facilities, and coordinating with vendors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 10 years service-center experience with at least 5 in supervision.
• College degree preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication and MS Office skills.
• Strong organization and follow-up abilities.
• Experience in budget development and management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain receiving, shipping, inventory control and production work cells by installing, coordinating, and enforcing departmental programs and Operational Work Instructions and procedures.
• Oversee cycle counts and reconcile with perpetual inventory records.
• Recruit, orient, plan and trains staff; monitor performance.
• Meet branch financial objectives by minimizing costs, O/T, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and installing financial checks and balances.
• Ensure Sales Orders are issued, picked, processed, shipped and invoiced timely.
• Develop vendor evaluation criteria and regularly reviews vendors for adherence.
• Maintain warehouse and logistics operations, equipment, capacities and capabilities by production planning and measurement, routine inspection and repair of in-house machinery and equipment, and regular review of warehouse layout and throughput.
• Interact with various customers, vendors, and service providers in the best interest of the company.
