Job summary

Nature's Sunshine seeks a swing shift packaging supervisor to provide leadership on technical, quality and safety matters. You will work alongside the shop floor team and drive maintenance, cost control and customer service goals.

To succeed you should have manufacturing leadership experience, deep GMP/SOP knowledge, and strong communication to motivate and guide cross-shift teams. Overtime may be required to complete critical projects.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing leadership required; leads with focus on safety, quality and maintenance.
• Experience with GMPs, SOPs, and batch records.
• Strong communication and motivational abilities.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and root cause analysis.
• Willing to work overtime and lead multiple packaging lines.

Responsibilities

• Schedules, communicates and leads department priorities and company goals.
• Ensures GMP and SOP guidelines are followed by the team.
• Promotes a safety and quality first work environment.
• Ensures PPE is available and properly used.
• Motivates the team and builds unity across all shifts.
• Leads on quality and technical aspects of all packaging lines.
• Drills to root causes and coordinates with Quality Assurance.
• Maintains a positive work environment as part of daily operations.
• Operates material handling equipment as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
