Job summary

HB Specialty Foods is seeking a Maintenance Technician on the 1 pm to 9:30 pm swing shift in Cookeville, TN. You will maintain production machinery, buildings, and equipment to keep lines running safely and efficiently.

Strong mechanical knowledge, ability to read diagrams, and teamwork are essential. Prior maintenance experience in a food-production environment is preferred and we offer comprehensive benefits, sign-on bonuses, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
• Must be punctual, self-motivated and able to work with a team.
• Ability to read diagrams, manuals and troubleshoot equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work at heights.
• Must be able to work around allergens and in varied climates.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, clean, and organized working environment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on motors, conveyors, and dryers.
• Read diagrams and manuals, troubleshoot issues, and repair equipment.
• Minimize downtime by coordinating with production managers.
• Maintain logs of work completed and update work orders.
