Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking an ENTRY LEVEL - Maintenance Technician to support our client’s mining and processing operations. The role focuses on maintaining equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and addressing breakdowns on swing shifts.

Ideal candidates have basic welding, fabrication, and hand tool skills, plus the ability to work safely with PPE and follow company procedures. This is an on-site position in a manufacturing environment with growth potential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in mechanical repair, installation, or industrial environments.
• Basic mechanical skills including welding (stick/arc), light fabrication, cutting torch, and hand tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Preferred: Experience operating skid-steer, man-lift, or similar equipment.
• Ability to follow PPE requirements, including respirator use.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer and company guidelines.
• Inspect, repair, and adjust plant and conveying equipment.
• Maintain inventory of commonly used replacement parts.
• Execute emergency repairs to address equipment breakdowns.
• Report issues and repair needs to the supervisor.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies.
• Complete required reports and documentation on time.
